Avoid Tinnitus: Measure Your iPod Volume for Safe Listening

measuring iPod volumeAvoid tinnitus: Measure your iPod volume so the music rings, not your ears.

Here’s Tabitha, measuring the volume in my iPod. Notice the volume is below 80 decibels. That’s where you’re aiming. 85 decibels is the level at which our Occupational Safety and Health Administration starts to regulate. Don’t go there.

Great tip about measuring the decibles. I suffer from tinnitus and just in case any of your readers already have some form of tinnitus my doctor recommended that I use a product called Lipoflavonoid. I have been using it for 6 months now and the ringing is gone. I recommend this product to anyone.

    Thank you, Nicole

I looked up Lipoflavonoid on Wikipedia, which says it contains as active ingredients:
    Vitamin C
    Vitamin B-1
    Vitamin B-2
    Vitamin B6
    Vitamin B-12
    Pantothenic acid
I checked my multi-vitamin and found that it also contains each of these ingredients, but in differing amounts from Lipoflavonoid, which is a proprietary blend.

It’s wonderful what a few vitamins can do!
